I get asked "Why do you want this job?"

Because I am concerned about the future of Fannin County and the well-being of its citizens.  I believe I am the person to lead our county forward.

Voters want a Chairman who will meet and earnestly discuss the issues that really matter to them. I will be a Chairman for the people.

I am married to Glenda Sue Panter. Our home is on the Mineral Bluff Highway.

I am active in the community as a member of the Blue Ridge Masonic Lodge #67; an Air Force veteran and a member of the American Legion.

My wife and I are members of the First United Methodist Church of Copperhill.

We have three children - Bill, Jr., Rhonda and Scott.  Our grandchildren Shane, Tiffany, Kayla, Ashley, BayleeAshleigh and are the future of Fannin County and on a personal level, I want to leave them a bright, prosperous future as residents of this county, just as you would want for your children and theirs.
